New England Patriots participant Stefon Diggs faces strangulation cost

New England Patriots large receiver Stefon Diggs is dealing with strangulation and assault fees, based on court docket data.

The fees stem from an alleged incident on Dec. 2, data present, someday after the Patriots beat the New York Giants 33-15.

Whereas particulars of the alleged incident aren’t clear, Diggs’ lawyer, David Meier, stated the NFL participant “categorically denies these allegations … as a result of they didn’t happen.”

“They’re unsubstantiated, uncorroborated, and had been by no means investigated — as a result of they didn’t happen,” Meier stated in an announcement. “The timing and motivation for making the allegations is crystal clear: they’re the direct results of an employee-employer monetary dispute that was not resolved to the worker’s satisfaction.”

The Patriots are standing behind Diggs, saying in an announcement, “Stefon has knowledgeable the group that he categorically denies the allegations.”
