Iran has issued urgent warnings for people to evacuate key ports in the United Arab Emirates, declaring them legitimate targets due to alleged U.S. military presence.

Ports Targeted in Heightened Tensions

Iran’s official judiciary news agency, Mizan, claims without evidence that U.S. forces occupy the civilian ports of Jebel Ali, Khalifa, and Fujairah. These facilities now qualify as legitimate targets for potential Iranian strikes, according to the agency. Residents and workers near these ports received immediate evacuation orders, with warnings that attacks could occur in the coming hours.

Jebel Ali Port ranks as the Middle East’s busiest hub. Smoke rose from the site after an Iranian strike on March 1.

Recent Drone Incident Near Fujairah

Earlier today, authorities intercepted a drone near Fujairah Port, igniting a fire in the vicinity. The Fujairah media office confirmed no casualties resulted from the event.

Ongoing Attacks on Gulf Infrastructure

Gulf Arab states endure frequent Iranian drone and missile barrages during the conflict, striking oil fields, urban areas, and vital infrastructure—sometimes with fatalities.

The UAE Defence Ministry reports nine ballistic missiles and 33 drones launched toward the country today. Cumulative figures since February 28 include 1,600 drones, 294 ballistic missiles, and 15 cruise missiles. These assaults have claimed six lives and injured 141 individuals.
