Christine Prince

Within the CBC newspaper from December 11, 2025 we lastly get the reply to the query: who killed Christine Prince in 1982?

Kenneth Smith’s DNA was the hyperlink between the murders of Christine Prince, Gracelyn Greenidge, and Claire Samson. The Toronto Police and the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) held a joint press convention final Thursday.

From CBC: “The three ladies have been killed in separate incidents between 1982 and 1997, Deputy Chief Robert Johnson of Toronto police stated. Prince was killed in 1982, Samson in 1983 and Greenidge in 1997.”

Sadly, Kenneth Smith won’t ever face trial. He handed away in 2019. He was 72 years outdated.

The three ladies didn’t know one another. The one factor they’d in widespread was Smith’s DNA.

There could also be extra instances to look into as per the press convention. Police made clear that they may maintain looking out if Smith is tied to different instances.

For extra particulars, please learn Ethan Lang’s piece (hyperlink on the prime of the publish) within the CBC. If I discover extra particulars associated to those instances, I’ll replace the database accordingly.

Relaxation in peace, Christine Prince, Gracelyn Greenidge, and Claire Samson.
