WWE has a final premium live event left before WrestleMania 42 in Nevada. Meanwhile, IYO SKY revealed that she wants to wrestle a male name in the promotion.
Rey Mysterio has been an inspiration to many current WWE Superstars and has had the opportunity to share the ring with legends in the ring. The Master of 619 is in his final years as a performer and currently hasn’t appeared on the weekly product.

In an interview with NYC Demon Diva, the interviewer asked IYO SKY which match she would like to add to the upcoming 2K game. The Genius of the SKY pitched a match between her and the former World Heavyweight Champion and expressed her interest in facing the Hall of Famer.
“IYO SKY versus Rey Mysterio. Yeah. I want to wrestle against him,” SKY said.
The company has done comedic intergender matches, and it’ll be interesting to see if the management will pit these two veterans against each other.
IYO SKY won’t compete at WWE Elimination Chamber 2026
Earlier this year, IYO SKY became champion when she captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with Rhea Ripley. RHIYO had a successful title defense at Saturday Night’s Main Event, but Ripley and SKY failed to punch their ticket to WrestleMania 42.
Later, Mami qualified for the upcoming Women’s Elimination Chamber match when she won a Triple Threat match on Monday Night RAW. In the recent edition of Monday Night RAW, The Genius of the Sky failed to secure her spot as she lost the match to Raquel Rodriguez.
As of now, SKY won’t compete in Chicago but remains champion with Rhea Ripley on the red brand. There’s a high chance they both enter WrestleMania 42 as champions and defend their titles against other teams in the women’s division.
