Morez Johnson Jr. scored 22 factors to guide No. 3 Michigan to a 101-60 win over Rutgers in a Massive Ten contest in Ann Arbor, Mich., on Saturday.

Johnson went 9 of 11 from the sector for Michigan (8-0, 1-0), which scored at the least 100 factors for the third straight recreation, the primary time it has accomplished that for the reason that 1989-90 season.

Within the first half, Michigan began to achieve separation early, occurring a 10-2 run to take an 18-6 lead with 11:47 remaining. The Wolverines later went on a 12-2 surge to take a 39-19 lead with 4:51 left on a 3-pointer by Lendeborg.

Michigan held a 50-25 lead at halftime, scoring 34 factors in paint.

Rutgers within the first half had virtually as many turnovers (10) as made discipline targets (11).
