US tariffs to kick in August 1 for nations with out offers, Treasury chief says

US tariffs will take impact Aug. 1 until buying and selling companions, together with Taiwan and the EU, attain offers with Washington, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated Sunday. Charges will revert to pre-negotiation ranges set by former President Trump, he informed CNN, after a July 9 deadline lapses.
