U.S. launches new retaliatory strikes towards ISIS in Syria after lethal ambush

The U.S. has launched one other spherical of retaliatory strikes towards the Islamic State in Syria following final month’s ambush that killed two U.S. troopers and one American civilian interpreter within the nation.

The Trump administration is looking the response to the Palmyra assaults Operation Hawkeye Strike. Each Torres-Tovar and Howard have been members of the Iowa Nationwide Guard.

It launched Dec. 19 with one other large-scale strike that hit 70 targets throughout central Syria that had IS infrastructure and weapons.
