A Thameslink spokesperson expressed deep regret over the incident: “It is with great sadness to report someone has been hit by a train between Luton and Bedford. All lines between these stations are now blocked until further notice.”
The spokesperson advised passengers: “If your train is delayed between stations, please stay on board and listen for updates. You can also ask staff if you need more information. We know where you are and are working to get you moving as soon as possible.”
