Sen. Chris Murphy, Democrat of Connecticut, advised “Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan” that as Republicans have accused Democrats of refusing to return to the desk on the shutdown, “Republicans are boycotting negotiations” with the Home on recess. “The one manner you’ll be able to resolve a shutdown is to have two events which are in Washington negotiating,” he stated.
