Quarterback Sam Darnold’s availability stays up within the air for the Seattle Seahawks in Saturday’s NFC divisional spherical sport towards the visiting San Francisco 49ers.

ESPN reported that Darnold has but to throw a soccer since he sustained an indirect damage on Thursday. He was added to the damage report that day and is listed as questionable for the sport.

Per ESPN, the Seahawks imagine Darnold will be capable of play on Saturday evening.

“Simply did not wish to push it,” Darnold stated on Thursday. “Wasn’t the day to push it. In order that was it. Simply got here inside, bought some rehab, and I really feel like I will be able to go for Saturday.”

Drew Lock, who took reps in apply, and rookie Jalen Milroe are behind Darnold on the depth chart.

Darnold, 28, went 14-3 as a beginning quarterback for the second straight season, doing so for the Minnesota Vikings in 2024 earlier than signing with Seattle in free company to interchange Geno Smith.

Darnold threw for 4,048 yards, 25 touchdowns and 14 interceptions and earned his second consecutive Professional Bowl nod whereas serving to Seattle outlast San Francisco and the Los Angeles Rams in a extremely aggressive NFC West race.
