A Republican lawmaker is asking for an oversight listening to of Division of Homeland Safety (DHS) businesses, renewing a request from earlier this month as consideration turns to a deadly taking pictures involving federal brokers in Minneapolis.

Rep. Andrew Garbarino, R-N.Y., chair of the Home Homeland Safety Committee, mentioned Saturday he’s looking for testimony from senior DHS officers following the loss of life of 37-year-old Alex Pretti.

Garbarino mentioned the request builds on an invite issued by committee workers on Jan. 15, which he’s now formally following up on.

The officers he named embrace performing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Todd Lyons, U.S. Customs and Border Safety (CBP) Commissioner Rodney Scott, and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Providers (USCIS) Director Joseph Edlow.
