Key Items in the Collection

Signature Doctor Gadgets

The auction highlights include two distinctive sonic screwdrivers: one used by David Tennant during his recent return as the Fourteenth Doctor, and Ncuti Gatwa’s illuminated ‘Joy To The World’ version currently featured in the series. Another standout item is the damaged TARDIS prop from the ‘Eve Of The Daleks’ special episode.

Additional Notable Lots

The collection features several other recognizable pieces, including:

  • The NSDA4 Dalek model featured consistently in Dalek storylines since 2012
  • River Song’s complete costume from ‘Rain Gods’
  • Amy Pond’s outfit from the series five episode ‘Amy’s Choice’
  • A recent ensemble worn by Ncuti Gatwa’s Fifteenth Doctor

Charity Auction Details

The online sale begins Tuesday and concludes on February 19, with all lots starting at £100. Twenty percent of the final hammer price for each item will benefit Children in Need, a prominent UK charity supporting disadvantaged youth.

Preserving Television History

Propstore’s chief executive emphasized the significance of the event: “This collection showcases the remarkable creativity and lasting impact of Doctor Who. We’re honored to facilitate finding new homes for these artifacts where they’ll be cherished and maintained, while supporting a vital charitable cause.”

BBC Studios’ head of marketing commented on the cultural importance: “These items represent crucial elements of the series’ legacy. This auction provides a unique chance for enthusiasts to preserve significant pieces of television history while contributing to meaningful charitable work.”

The sale includes props from Tennant’s initial run as the Tenth Doctor (2005-2010), his 2023 return, and elements from Gatwa’s ongoing portrayal as the Fifteenth Doctor. Collectors and fans alike can participate in the event through the designated auction platform.
