Officers discovered two gunshot victims inside the home during their 3:15 a.m. response. Emergency medical services transported both individuals to hospital for treatment, though authorities haven’t disclosed their current medical status.

Police Seek Witness Information

Investigators are requesting public assistance regarding suspicious activity near Redwood Street around the time of the shooting. Authorities particularly seek residential security footage captured between 2:45 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.

‘Evidence strongly suggests this was a targeted attack,’ stated Corporal Jennifer Cooper of the Prince George RCMP. ‘While general public safety wasn’t compromised, we urge residents to remain vigilant and report unusual behavior immediately.’

Pattern of Targeted Violence Emerges

This incident follows two similar recent firearm offenses. The previous shooting occurred last Friday on Ahbau Street, where gunfire damaged property but caused no injuries. On January 17, a Porter Avenue shooting left a 37-year-old man hospitalized with serious but non-fatal injuries.

Enhanced Police Response Implemented

The RCMP’s Problem Oriented Policing team has initiated concentrated patrols in affected neighborhoods. ‘These strategic patrols focus on individuals with known ties to organized crime,’ police officials confirmed, ‘aiming to disrupt criminal networks and improve community safety.’

Investigators remained at the Redwood Street scene throughout Tuesday gathering evidence. The police force encourages anyone with relevant information to contact their tip line anonymously.
