New York Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani inspired his greater than 1 million X followers this week to boycott Starbucks.

“Starbucks staff throughout the nation are on an Unfair Labor Practices strike, preventing for a good contract,” the 34-year-old wrote on Thursday. “Whereas staff are on strike, I received’t be shopping for any Starbucks, and I’m asking you to affix us. Collectively, we will ship a strong message: No contract, no espresso.”

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON’T BUY STARBUCKS during our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX.”
