Detroit Tigers slugger Kerry Carpenter has deep gratitude and devotion toward his wife, Lauren (nee Burke). The marriage is both a source of joy and personal growth for Carpenter.
The Tigers infielder tied the knot on Feb 3, 2024. Carpenter shared a multisnap post on Instagram to mark the second anniversary on Tuesday.
The cover image of the post was from their wedding. Carpenter and his wife looked at each other, holding hands, while in their wedding attire. The next three snaps were also from the wedding.

“The only thing I can say is thank you Jesus!! Lauren, you are so loving and selfless and so beautiful. You make me want to be more Christ-like so I can serve and love you better every day. Lauren was a standout collegiate softball player. She played for the Oregon Ducks and the Texas Longhorns. She helped the Ducks win the 2018 Pac-12 Championship before playing for the Longhorns from 2019 to 2022.
Lauren was a versatile player. She played every position during college, except for pitcher and third base.
