Cleveland Browns general manager Andrew Berry shared his support for a surprising team. For somebody who tries to build a championship team in the AFC, it is hard to imagine him having links with another team, let alone expressing support.
However, Berry has major reasons to rally behind the Philadelphia Eagles.
Thanks for the submission!
During a 2024 appearance on NFL Network’s “The Insiders,” Andrew Berry told the hosts why he has new-found love for the Eagles.

“I’m very proud of Adam (his brother),” Berry said. “I know he’s in great hands with one of my mentors in Howie Roseman. He is a sponge. He is incredibly smart. He took a risk changing careers midstream, and he’s transitioned pretty smoothly and nicely.

“I’m really excited for what the future holds for him, and when I’m not in Browns’ business, I’m an Eagles fan just because I want to see him do well. I’m really excited about his progress.”
Two years later, the Eagles promoted Berry, who will have a similar role to his brother, Andrew. Adam is now Philadelphia’s assistant general manager after Alec Halaby left the team last week.
“Adam Berry, who enters his third season with the Philadelphia Eagles, was elevated to vice president of football operations and strategy during the 2024 offseason,” the team announced.
“In his current role, Berry’s responsibilities include pro and college player evaluation, salary cap and resource allocation strategy, contract negotiation/ structuring, integrating analytics into roster management, and player development.”

Andrew Berry makes clear statement on Myles Garrett’s future
Amid Myles Garrett trade rumors following a contract language restructuration, Andrew Berry explained that the reigning Defensive Player of the Year was not in the move, and the Browns expected him to retire with the AFC North squad.
“We feel really good about Myles obviously as a big piece of our future. We’re looking forward to him being on the field. Like I said in my (early January) press conference, we envision him going from Cleveland to Canton when his career is over.”
“I think you can assume that we do anticipate at some point doing a third contract with Myles. We want him to retire here.”
Garrett’s game is on another level. Many think his time with the Browns is over.
