The LIV Golf Hong Kong concluded with Jon Rahm claiming his third win of the league. On Sunday, March 8, he fired a 6-under 64 to aggregate at 23-under and register a three-stroke win over Thomas Detry.

While this was Rahm’s third win in the Saudi-backed circuit, it was the first that gave him ranking points. For the uninitiated, the LIV stars finishing inside the top ten or tie will receive ranking points from this season onwards.

The two-time major champion moved up to 36th in the OWGR from 54th after his first LIV Golf win in 18 months. Thomas Detry climbed to 61st from 70th following his runner-up finish, while Thomas Pieters jumped to 270th from 430th after finishing third.
