Samsung Galaxy devices, including premium models, omit internal magnets. Industry observers criticize this choice, noting that most users rely on cases. A Samsung executive recently commented on the decision, highlighting Apple’s success in integrating MagSafe into slim designs like the iPhone Air while maintaining strong battery performance. In contrast, Samsung depends on third-party case manufacturers to handle magnet placement, strength, and quality, leading to inconsistent accessory experiences.
