To the editor: How can holding a hearth chief chargeable for poor decision-making result in a possible taxpayer-funded bonanza for her legal professionals (“Ousted L.A. fireplace chief claims Bass ran a misinformation marketing campaign, defamed her to save lots of herself,” Aug. 20)? The Los Angeles Instances’ personal investigative reporting uncovered the reality.
