2025 marks the a centesimal anniversary of the delivery of Frantz Fanon. The psychiatrist’s work has had a major impression on post-colonial actions around the globe, particularly in North Africa. When filmmaker Jean-Claude Barny explored his life within the biopic Fanon, he selected Ludovic Louis to create the soundtrack. The jazz composer and trumpeter employed a daring musical alliance, making a dialogue between North African and Center Japanese sounds. Ludovic Louis is our visitor on Eye on Africa.
