French farmers are protesting towards authorities measures, together with the culling of total cattle herds, geared toward containing an outbreak of lumpy pores and skin illness amongst livestock. If left unchecked, the illness may wipe out 1.5 million cattle in France, or about 10% of the nationwide herd, says Agriculture Minister Annie Genevard.
