Unusual Arrest in Kissimmee Community
A 51-year-old Florida resident faces charges following reports of lewd behavior involving a household appliance near Walt Disney World Resort. Kevin Dale Westerhold was taken into custody late last month after multiple witnesses reported inappropriate conduct.
Disturbing Community Reports
Authorities responded to Windsor Hills Resort in Kissimmee on January 22 following multiple 911 calls about a partially clothed individual engaging in sexual acts with a vacuum cleaner in public view. The suspect had fled before deputies arrived at the gated community located just seven minutes from Disney’s main entrance.
Investigators collected video evidence from residential security systems and witness statements detailing similar incidents dating back to December. “Residents provided cellphone recordings showing a partially clothed male performing sexual acts with a vacuum cleaner near his property,” an official report stated.
Pattern of Behavior Alleged
Court documents indicate Westerhold allegedly exposed himself on multiple occasions in hallways and common areas of the resort where he and his wife own rental properties. Security footage reportedly shows the suspect appearing nude or partially clothed in shared spaces.
After a five-day investigation, authorities apprehended Westerhold at his Oviedo residence, approximately 35 miles from the Kissimmee resort. He was booked into Seminole County Jail on January 27 on misdemeanor exposure charges with bond set at $2,500.
Ongoing Investigation
Officials are requesting additional information from potential witnesses. “We encourage anyone who may have encountered similar behavior to contact our office,” a sheriff’s department representative confirmed. The investigation remains active as authorities review evidence from multiple alleged incidents.
