LOS ANGELES — A big hearth was reported Thursday night time at a Los Angeles-area oil refinery, prompting a response by first responders, in line with officers and video that captured the scene.

Helicopter footage from NBC Los Angeles confirmed flames coming from two of the stacks and one different space on the Chevron refinery in El Segundo.

The hearth was seen on the refinery round 9:32 p.m., El Segundo police stated. It stated there was no name for residents to evacuate, and the fireplace was later contained.

It was not clear if there have been any accidents. Chevron didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark.

Manhattan Seaside, a neighboring coastal metropolis in Los Angeles County, instructed residents that it was conscious of the “uncommon hearth occasion” on the Chevron refinery, however that there was no evacuation order. The town instructed residents to remain inside.

Video captured on social media confirmed a fireball showing to erupt from the power, and flames that lit up the horizon.
