Dozens of cargo containers fall off vessel at Port of Lengthy Seaside

A minimum of 50 delivery containers slipped off a vessel on the Port of Lengthy Seaside Tuesday morning, leaving officers scrambling to find out what occurred.

Port spokesperson Artwork Marroquin stated the ship, the Mississippi, was berthed at Terminal G simply earlier than 9 a.m. when the containers mysteriously fell overboard into the close by water.

Marroquin and different port officers didn’t reply to questions concerning the ship. They confirmed, nonetheless, that no accidents had been reported and all operations have been briefly suspended as responders work to safe the containers.
