CDC Director Susan Monarez ousted weeks after she was confirmed by Senate

Susan Monarez, the director of the U.S. Facilities for Illness Management and Prevention, is being ousted from her function lower than a month after the Senate confirmed her to guide the general public well being company, a supply conversant in the matter confirmed to CBS Information.

It isn’t clear why Monarez was faraway from the job. She was confirmed by the Senate in a party-line vote in late July, after beforehand serving because the company’s appearing head beginning in January.
