Buffalo Sabres defenseman Conor Timmins is predicted to overlook six to eight weeks after breaking his left leg within the third interval of a 5-3 win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday, head coach Lindy Ruff introduced.
Timmins’ left skate appeared to catch a rut within the ice, inflicting his leg to bend awkwardly with 5:20 remaining within the third interval.
He’s anticipated to be sidelined till after the February break for the Olympics.
Signed to a two-year, $4.4 million contract within the offseason, Timmins has recorded six assists and a minus-11 score in 33 video games this season.
Timmins, 27, has totaled 52 factors (six targets, 46 assists) and a plus-10 score in 192 profession video games with the Colorado Avalanche, Arizona Coyotes, Toronto Maple Leafs, Pittsburgh Penguins and Sabres because the 2019-20 season.
He was chosen by the Avalanche within the second spherical of the 2017 NHL Draft.
