To the editor: Information from the California Trucking Assn. tells us that the overwhelming majority of merchandise made, grown or offered in California journey by truck at some stage of the manufacturing and distribution course of (“California to revoke 17,000 industrial driver’s licenses issued to immigrants,” Nov. 15). Think about the disruptions in commerce — and the value will increase on the whole lot — from shedding 17,000 truck drivers directly.
