Two Cops Hospitalized

The U.S. Capitol is on fireplace, sort of … a fireplace began in a underground tunnel that connects Congressional buildings by practice … and it landed two law enforcement officials within the hospital.

The hearth sparked Thursday afternoon on the Capitol subway system and two U.S. Capitol Cops have been taken to an area hospital for additional analysis.

Officers say there have been no accidents amongst practice passengers. It is unclear who was on the practice.


Footage reveals smoke in one of many tunnels and a stopped trolley automotive seems to be burning close to {the electrical} line.

D.C. Hearth says fireplace fighters responded to a small electrical fireplace on prime of an underground trolley … and the fireplace was extinguished.

It is unclear what began the fireplace. The tunnel has since been cleared of smoke.

The subway system connects the Capitol to the Rayburn Home Workplace … and it shuttles lawmakers, aids and visitors between authorities buildings.
