Three Chinese language nationals have been charged with smuggling Nvidia and HP merchandise to China, in keeping with costs unsealed by the Justice Division on Thursday.
Beginning in September of 2023, Hon Ning Ho, Brian Raymond, Cham Li and Jing Chen allegedly exported chips to China.
The Justice Division alleges that the three Chinese language nationals and one American have been concerned in a scheme to ship these chips to 3rd get together international locations — Thailand and Malaysia — that will then be shipped to China. The boys allegedly arrange a shell firm to buy these merchandise.
The Commerce Division has banned China from buying these chips.
