Attorneys for Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook dinner are firing again towards her felony referral to the Division of Justice over allegations of mortgage fraud, calling these allegations “baseless” in a brand new letter to the division.
“On the core of the referrals and allegations of wrongdoing is a basic false impression and purposeful omission,” the letter, obtained by ABC Information, from Cook dinner’s attorneys to Legal professional Common Pam Bondi states.

As President Donald Trump seeks to reshape the stability of the Federal Reserve central banking system, the allegations towards Cook dinner turned the idea of Trump’s effort to terminate her “for trigger” in August.
In accordance with the attorneys’ letter, the felony referrals relate to properties Cook dinner owns in Michigan, Georgia and Massachusetts.
Cook dinner’s attorneys additionally criticize the person who made the referrals — Federal Housing Finance Company Director Invoice Pulte, who has made comparable allegations towards different foes of the president — slamming what they are saying is his “partisan use of the felony referral course of.”
