Oklahoma City won last season’s NBA title, and its star — Shai Gilgeous-Alexander — also won regular-season MVP.

Who will win the league’s most coveted individual honor this year? Let’s take a look at the odds at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Nov. 17, as well as what to know about the top candidates.

Regular Season MVP 2025-26

Nikola Jokić, Nuggets: +200

What to know: Jokić opened the offseason as the favorite at +200, then shifted to third and is now back in first. So far this season, it appears the three-time MVP has mastered basketball even further. He’s putting up 28.7 points (on 67.2% shooting), 13 rebounds and 10.9 assists for the 10-2 Nuggets, who are third in the league in points per game (124.4), second in point differential (13.1) and are first in field-goal percentage (50.6). In 12 games, Jokic already has seven triple-doubles.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Thunder: +225

What to know: The Thunder are 13-1 to start the season, despite Jalen Williams missing all 14 games due to injury and Chet Holmgren missing four. Through those 14 games, SGA is averaging 32.6 points (53.1% shooting), 6.6 assists and 5.1 rebounds.

Luka Dončić, Lakers: +400

What to know: The Lakers have begun the season without LeBron James (back), but they are still 10-4 through 14 games. A fit-looking Dončić has played in 10 of those games, and is averaging a league-best 34.4 points, alongside 8.9 rebounds and 8.9 assists. He’s basically a shorter Jokić.

Victor Wembanyama, Spurs: +750

What to know: Is this the year that Wemby takes over? The Spurs started 4-0 and Wemby was unbelievable to begin the season, averaging 31 points on 60.8% shooting, along with 13.8 rebounds and 4.8 blocks in those four wins. He actually catapulted to second on the MVP oddsboard after that stretch. While Wemby and San Antonio have slowed down just a bit —they now sit at 9-4 — the Frenchman is putting up 26.2 points, 12.9 rebounds and 3.6 blocks this season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks: +900

What to know: Antetokounmpo doesn’t have that much help in Milwaukee, but he’s doing his part. The Bucks are 8-6, and the Greek Freak is averaging 32.6 points, 11.3 rebounds and 7.1 assists. He’s also shooting 63% from the field. Consider this: The Bucks have one win in a game where Giannis scored fewer than 30 points. They also have losses in games where he scored 32, 37 and 40 points.
