LAUSD tries to quash lawsuit alleging the district defrauded taxpayers

A decide has allowed a lawsuit towards the Los Angeles Unified College District to proceed to a jury trial, quashing the varsity officers’ try to have the submitting dismissed. 

The district’s former superintendent Austin Beutner is spearheading the lawsuit. Beutner and Hollywood’s greatest stars helped safe practically a billion {dollars} particularly for brand new artwork academics and courses by way of Proposition 28, with $77 million allotted to LAUSD.
