Alabama defensive again Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. was suspended indefinitely, head coach Kalen DeBoer stated Monday, after the participant’s arrest Saturday on costs of reckless endangerment and making an attempt to elude and rushing.
In keeping with court docket data, Kirkpatrick was launched from a Tuscaloosa County jail on a $1,500 bond.
“Sadly, with the knowledge I’ve presently, I talked to Dre and we have to indefinitely droop him,” DeBoer stated. “He understands that there are penalties that include his actions.”
In his second season with the Crimson Tide, Kirkpatrick has 9 tackles and a pressured fumble in eight video games. In 21 video games for Alabama since final season, he has 12 tackles in 21 video games. Kirkpatrick is the son of former NFL defensive again Dre Kirkpatrick, who performed eight of his 10 seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals.
No. 4 Alabama is 7-1 this season (5-0 SEC) and performs host to LSU on Saturday.
