Upon arrival, police discovered a girl — who was later recognized as 47-year-old Angelynn “Angie” Mock— standing outdoors the house. They then entered the residence and located Mock’s mom, Anita Avers, 80, “unresponsive in her mattress with a number of stab wounds.”
