JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — A Mississippi deputy sheriff was arrested Thursday by the FBI, one among a number of arrests it made throughout a number of regulation enforcement businesses within the state, an area sheriff mentioned.

Sunflower County Sheriff James Haywood confirmed the arrest of his deputy, Marvin Flowers. He additionally mentioned the FBI arrested the sheriffs of two different counties, along with different regulation enforcement officers, on allegations of public corruption.
