In an interview on “CBS Mornings” on Wednesday, Yousafzai stated she hopes readers will see her as greater than an activist.

“I’ve grown over the previous decade, and there was a lot extra to my life that I needed to share with folks. This has been a journey of navigating friendships, marriage, psychological well being, and my activism. I am reintroducing myself,” stated Yousafzai.
