Diane Keaton, the actor beloved for her roles in “The Godfather” movies and “Annie Corridor,” has died on the age of 79, her daughter confirmed to NBC Information.

Dexter Keaton stated the household is searching for privateness and had no additional remark.

Diane Keaton, recognized for her wit, humor, and glowing attraction, was a longtime Hollywood star with a profession spanning six many years.

“Father of the Bride” co-star Kimberly Williams Paisley wrote on Instagram: “Diane, working with you’ll at all times be one of many highlights of my life. You’re certainly one of a form, and it was thrilling to be in your orbit for a time.”

“Guide Membership” co-star Steenburgen remembered Keaton as “magic.”

“There was nobody, nor will there ever be, anybody like her. I cherished her and felt blessed to be her buddy. My like to her household. What a surprise she was!!!” she stated in an announcement.

Fellow “Guide Membership” co-star Fonda stated in an announcement: “It’s laborious to imagine … or settle for … that Diane has handed. She was at all times a spark of life and lightweight, continuously guffawing at her personal foibles, being limitlessly inventive … in her performing, her wardrobe, her books, her mates, her properties, her library. Kate Hudson shared a clip from “The First Wives Membership” on Instagram with the caption: “We love you a lot Diane.”

Actor Viola Davis wrote on Instagram: “No!! No!!! No!! God, not but, NO!!! Man… you outlined womanhood. The pathos, humor, levity, your ever-present youthfulness and vulnerability — you tattooed your SOUL into each function, making it not possible to think about anybody else inhabiting them.
