MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — Rival gunmen began capturing at one another in a crowded downtown nightlife district in Alabama’s capital metropolis Saturday evening, killing two individuals and injuring 12 others, police mentioned.

Montgomery Police Chief James Graboys mentioned three of the injured had been hospitalized with life-threatening accidents. Police had been referred to as round 11:30 p.m. to what Graboys described as a “mass capturing.”

“This was two events concerned that had been principally capturing at one another in the course of a crowd,” Graboys instructed reporters close to the scene.

The shooters, he mentioned, “didn’t care concerning the individuals round them after they did it.”
