Russian drone assault kills 13,000 pigs in Ukraine, officers say

A Russian drone strike on a farm in northeast Ukraine in a single day into Friday sparked a hearth that killed some 13,000 pigs, emergency service officers stated.

Ukraine’s state emergency service stated the Russian drone assault hit a “farming enterprise within the Novovodolazka neighborhood” within the Kharkiv area. A employee on the farm was injured.

Pictures launched by the service confirmed pig carcasses piled up in cramped sheds that had been partly burned down, some with their roofs shattered.

The pigs had been held in eight stalls spanning simply over 140,000 sq. toes, all of which burned down within the hearth, the emergency service added.
