Michigan LDS temple mass capturing: What we all know concerning the victims

4 folks had been killed and eight others had been injured in a mass capturing and hearth throughout worship providers at a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel in Grand Blanc, Michigan, on Sunday.

“We mourn with our members who’ve misplaced family members, and we take part prayer for consolation with others all over the world who’re affected by related tragedies,” Dallin H. Oaks, president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, mentioned in a press release.

“All of us search solutions and understanding within the wake of trauma, shock, and grief. We’re grateful to all who’re reaching out with service, prayers, and phrases of assist throughout this tough time,” Oaks mentioned.

John Bond — a beloved husband, father and grandfather — was among the many 4 folks killed within the capturing, his household confirmed to ABC Information.

A nine-year veteran of the US Navy, Bond was a “well-known and liked member of his household and energetic in his neighborhood,” his household mentioned.

He liked spending time together with his household and grandkids, taking part in golf and researching trains, they mentioned.
