Common Music Group says they’re catching authorized strays relating to an explosive lawsuit in opposition to Diddy … and so they desire a decide to chop them some slack.

This is the deal … former “Making The Band” singer Sara Rivers is suing Diddy for alleged hostile and inhumane therapy … and her lawsuit named UMG as one in all a number of dozen defendants.

The music company simply filed a movement to dismiss the lawsuit in opposition to them … arguing they don’t have any enterprise being sued by Sara.


In new authorized docs, obtained by TMZ, UMG argues the case in opposition to them needs to be dismissed as a result of it is time-barred … UMG says the federal claims are preempted by New York state legislation and that it is an improper group pleading that fails to state a declare.
