You recognize precisely what you are going to get when a brand new V/H/S film drops — a bite-sized sampling of gnarly tales and thematically linked frights — and judging by the trailer, V/H/S/HALLOWEEN does not appear to be it’s going to disappoint.

The video above teases six new tales within the ongoing horror anthology collection, with administrators Bryan M. Ferguson, Casper Kelly (who directed the really upsetting Too Many Cooks), Micheline Pitt-Norman and R.H. Norman, indie auteur Alex Ross Perry (Her Odor, Queen of Earth), Paco Plaza (creator of the REC franchise), and Anna Zlokovic bringing quite a lot of gore-spattered Halloween scares. We’re anticipating nightmarish horror homes, trick-or-treating expeditions gone terrifyingly fallacious, a gnarly monster often known as The Mommy, found-footage nasties, and rather more.

V/H/S/HALLOWEEN simply premiered on the world-famous style movie pageant Unbelievable Fest to pretty constructive opinions. That is by no means a foul signal for horror hounds, so seize some snacks and brace your self for some seasonally acceptable shocks… for those who dare!

V/H/S/HALLOWEEN debuts on Shudder October 3.
