A Stuarts Draft truck driver has been charged after reportedly putting two overpasses on Interstate 81 whereas allegedly carrying an outsized load, in accordance with Virginia State Police.
The overpass strikes passed off on Sept. 22.
At roughly 4:14 p.m., troopers had been notified about an outsized load that hit overpasses at mile markers 241.5 and 239.5. The truck continued on southbound I-81 and was positioned later at a relaxation space in Augusta County.
The driving force of the truck, John D. Duggins, 62, of Stuarts Draft, was charged with misdemeanor property injury, violating most automobile top, reckless driving, a allow violation, and two misdemeanor fees of hit-and-run, police mentioned.
