Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a person suspected of breaking right into a West Hollywood condo and allegedly killing his former roommate’s canine.

Anmol Bhatia, 27, was arrested Sunday round 7:10 p.m. in Beverly Hills, after officers from the Beverly Hills Police Division notified the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Division West Hollywood Station that that they had detained a suspect, based on sheriff’s division spokesperson Grace Medrano. Officers acknowledged Bhatia from the bodily description deputies shared with the media and regulation enforcement.

On Sept. 4, sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a housebreaking within the 1200 block of Harper Avenue. When deputies arrived, the resident of the condo stated that their canine was lifeless and there was surveillance footage that confirmed a suspect.

A masked man was seen within the footage coming into the condo and jog towards the small canine, based on a sheriff’s division information launch. Round 11:36 p.m. within the footage, the person assaults the canine till it stopped shifting, based on authorities. The suspect didn’t have permission to enter the condo.

Bhatia used to reside on the condo and was kicked out a number of days earlier than the break-in, based on authorities. He additionally allegedly stole just a few gadgets from the condo, though investigators didn’t specify what they have been.

On Sunday, sheriff’s deputies picked Bhatia up from Beverly Hills police custody and booked him into West Hollywood Station on suspicion of housebreaking, vandalism and animal cruelty, Medrano stated.
