President Donald Trump sought to dispel swirling social media rumors about his well being Tuesday, saying he was “very energetic” over the Labor Day weekend.

“I did not do something for 2 days, and so they stated ‘there should be one thing unsuitable with him,’” Trump informed reporters within the Oval Workplace, describing the hypothesis about his loss of life as “pretend information.”

Trump’s feedback adopted a wave of unfounded hypothesis that started Friday evening and stretched into Saturday morning, fueled by an empty public schedule and recycled photographs exhibiting bruising on his hand. 

The web chatter subsided after Trump was seen leaving the White Home along with his grandchildren for his golf membership in Virginia on Saturday. He was seen sporting a white polo shirt and crimson MAGA hat.

“I used to be very energetic over the weekend. I went out to go to some folks on the membership that I personal fairly close by on the Potomac River. No, I have been very energetic, really,” Trump stated, drawing a pointy comparability to his predecessor, President Joe Biden.

“You would not see him (Biden) and no one ever stated there was ever something unsuitable with him,” Trump stated. “And we all know he wasn’t within the best of form.”

In July, White Home press secretary Karoline Leavitt stated Trump was experiencing bruising on his palms that was attributable to “frequent handshaking and using aspirin.” 

She added that he additionally had gentle swelling in his legs that stemmed from a “benign and customary situation” in people older than age 70.
