A juvenile boy was bitten by a shark whereas swimming off the coast of Key Largo, Florida, on Labor Day, officers stated.

The incident occurred round 3:24 p.m. on Monday, Monroe County Sheriff’s Workplace stated in Fb publish. The sufferer was airlifted by Trauma Star to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.

Officers notified the U.S. Coast Guard and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Fee concerning the incident.
