A San Bernardino man was arrested on suspicion of molestation on Wednesday after he allegedly posed as an animal management officer in a white “ambulance-style” van to lure a younger woman trying to find her lacking canine into his van, authorities stated.

At about 8:49 p.m. on Tuesday, San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputies responded to experiences of a kidnapping in Highland after an 11-year-old woman briefly went lacking and returned house within the night, in response to a press launch. Earlier that day, the woman was trying to find her lacking canine close to San Francisco and 14th Avenue when Guillermo Cascante, a 57-year-old San Bernardino resident, allegedly approached her in an older, ambulance-style white van and posed as an animal management officer to lure her into his automobile, in response to the discharge.

Deputies performed an space search and situated the automobile matching the sufferer’s description parked close to Cascante’s house on 18th and Guthrie Avenue, authorities stated.

On Wednesday, deputies issued a search warrant for Cascante’s house and made the arrest, deputies stated. Cascante was booked on suspicion of kidnapping, lewd acts with a baby below 14 and lewd acts with a baby utilizing drive or concern.

Detectives stated they consider different victims might exist and plan to launch pictures of Cascante and his automobile to the general public.
