Performing ICE Director Todd Lyons vowed to “flood” Boston with brokers after Democratic Mayor Michelle Wu doubled down on her pledge to uphold town’s sanctuary insurance policies and resist the Trump administration’s crackdown on unlawful immigration.

Talking on the native radio program “The Howie Carr Present,” Lyons responded to Wu by saying, “Now you’re going to see extra ICE brokers come to Boston to guarantee that we take these public security threats out that she desires to let return into the communities.”

He pointed to the Trump administration’s “Operation Patriot,” which surged federal brokers within the Boston space in March and yielded over a thousand arrests.

Wu publicly rejected Bondi’s calls for throughout a press convention, calling the ultimatum a political stunt.
