A person survived after clinging to the surface of a high-speed practice in Austria on Saturday, reportedly after it left whereas he was having a cigarette break.

The person, who was not recognized, grabbed onto the surface of the practice because it was leaving the station in Sankt Poelten, west of Vienna, railways spokesman Herbert Hofer advised AFP.
