Little-known South American airline provides new path to Washington, DC, its 2nd US metropolis
Washington, D.C.-area vacationers may have a brand new choice to South America starting in November.
Boliviana de Aviacion, the state-owned flag service of Bolivia, will launch twice-weekly flights from its home-country base at Viru Viru Worldwide Airport (VVI) in Santa Cruz to Washington’s Dulles Worldwide Airport (IAD) with a cease at Panama Metropolis’s Tocumen Worldwide Airport (PTY) on Nov. 4. The flights will function on Tuesdays and Thursdays by way of Feb. 24, and resume from June 1 till Aug. 31, 2026.
